Autumn

Autumn – Orthodontic Assistant

Autumn is one of our enthusiastic assistants. Born and raised here in Sunbury, Ohio, she has lived here all her life and graduated from Big Walnut High School. Go Eagles! She went on to college and currently attends Columbus State community college with the intent to obtain her associate of arts degree and become a Japanese translator. Her end goal is to move to japan.

For now, she intends to enjoy her time working at Dr. Renick’s office. When at work, talking and getting to know our patients is a big part of what she loves about the job. Secondly, she likes the learning experience at our office, along with being able to witness people’s smiles being transformed over time. The third thing she looks forward to is the reward that comes with seeing patient’s faces light up looking in the mirror at their new smile when all is said and done.

When she is not working two jobs and going to school, she can be found doing a variety of activities from writing poetry to wrangling horses. She likes to partake in most anything that catches her fancy. She was a member of the 4-H club and is an FFA member. First place, grand and reserve champion awards grace her wall from many projects. Some of those projects include showing animals such as turkeys, chickens, sheep, rabbits and horses; and participating in activities like gardening, baking, sewing, woodworking, drawing and a few others. Due to the age limit, she is no longer able to show, but she loves living on her family’s farm. The country is where she thrives.

Some of her other favorite things are fishing, drawing, writing, riding horses, video games, anime, volunteering for church activities and last, but not least, burying her nose in her favorite genre of books. There’s nothing like a good classic or a cheesy 1800’s Christian romance to wind down with at the end of the day. That wraps up a tiny shard of the mural that is her life.
